Days of rain - "BOOM" character design

Days of rain is a project I worked on for a class at Brainstorm. The premise is that in the search for a suitable new home, humans find a planet similar to earth and begin colonizing it. As they dig deep into its core, they awaken an ancient civilizations who's planet this originally belonged too. These creatures come out of the depths and start taking back the planet, overrunning human settlements, and enslaving the survivors. Now an expeditionary group, on the far edges of this planet must help save the whats left of humanity and find a way out of this planet.
